Wishing To Live Before “All This”

As someone who has been in the Health & Wellness world for just under a decade, I feel like I have tried SO hard to keep growing, continue implementing the science I’ve learned, so I could feel better and see those incredible results so many people talk about.

But sometimes I DON’T see those incredible results.

I eat mostly organic. Mostly from scratch, home cooked meals I make. I use pretty good products on my body and in my home. To manage my stress, go outside, live well.

I try my absolute best to talk the talk and walk the walk.

But sometimes, I still have issues.

Something that would just eat me up was wishing I lived in a time “before all this”. When there wasn’t chemicals sprayed in our air. When our soil and water were rich with minerals and nutrients. When it never was a thought to not have organic, natural-fiber clothing. I’d think to myself, “man, if I lived in a different time before all these current problems- all the chemical exposure I can’t control, with amazing food, slower paced, etc, I bet I would NEVER get sick!!” I kept looking back at the past, the world devoid of all these toxins and full of the nutrients I know we need, easily at their finger tips, jealous of the richness and ease those people had.

But then the Lord showed me something.

The woman who bled for 12 years and sought Jesus with her final desperate hope after spending every penny she had on failed treatments. The children who were sick and their parents racing to Jesus for help. The blind. The Lepers. The men and women in the Old Testament who had infertility, diseases, depression, anxiety.

He showed me that even these people who lived before Round-Up, polyester, GMO’s, chemtrails, air pollution, artificial food additives….still had health issues.

And they STILL had to come to Him and trust Him with their wellness.

So, please, no matter what you are struggling with in your health & wellness journey, there is always MORE to do-more protocols, supplements, eliminating this and that…but remember, we live in a fallen, sinful, broken world and the LORD is the one who lines up our paths and makes us TRULY well.
